This is a new scheme brought out by Mr. P U Thomas on behalf of his renowned and humble trust called Navajeevan Trust.

Navajeevan apart from being a rehabilitation centre, also involves in various other poverty alleviating activities like providing food to poor patients, and OKOP is a way for that. Through OKOP Navajeevan is trying to involve students for distributing food packets for the impoverished.  Through this initiative Navajeevan coordinated with students to bring food from their home, which will be later on collected by Navajeevan volunteers. This collected food packets will be distributed to deserving poor people in general hospitals.

One of the events conducted under this scheme was coordinating with Deepika (malayalam Daily) balasakhyam. The trust asked members of balasakhyam (students) to bring food from home which later on collected and distributed to patients in Kottayam Medical College Hospital.
